Revit roof split line.
The original poster wanted to create a split roof.

First i need to use split element to divide one eave line into 4 separate pieces.
As soon as you activate the split element tool you ll notice that your cursor changes to an icon of a knife scalpel blade.
Select another vertex edge face or point anywhere on.
Split a roof or structural floor select the floor to modify.
Activate modify sub elements.

First activate add split line and draw the lines like below.

After you finish with the lines open default 3d view.
They created a link to some images which you can see in the original post.
Click modify floors tab shape editing panel add split line.
The forgotten options i had a client recently who does residential roof framing and wanted to know.
Or dormers along the eave line.

You can now simply hover over the element you wish to split and revit will display a blue line to indicate where the split will be made go ahed and left click with your mouse.
You can drag any point in your roof and adjust the roof shape as you want.
To create this kind of roof start by making two separate roofs.
When you delete the shape edit element the floor adjusts its geometry accordingly.
To delete shape edit elements select the modified floor.
