Our antique resawn oak hardwood wide plank flooring features a moderate authentic mix of sound checking sound cracks knots and insect holes tracks together with same strength. Features wide plank flooring that is prefinished and available in engineered construction the engineered material comes standard at 5 8 thick with a substantial 4 mm wear layer or 3 4 thick with a full 5mm or 6 mm wear layer for a truly superior product. Coloring is light tan to medium browns with some reddish tint mixed in. Choose from a mix of old growth red and white oak or ask us to sort to your preference of white or red oak.

These planks are resawn from authentic reclaimed red and white oak barn beams resulting in cleaner more uniform planks than that of a usual reclaimed oak floor. Resawn s hardwood collection features sustainably harvested woods including white oak black walnut ash hickory and a variety of reclaimed woods. It has a janka hardness scale rating of 1290. It is slightly more porous and has more open grain with less prominent flecking than white oak.
